This is a tool that my wife and I use all of the time. We like to show places to our kids where we live and where we are going to vacation. This is a great tool to use to show students how big the world actually is. FUN.....

This was a great slideshare for this time of the year. I plan on using these in my professional development classess. I can also see this being used in the classroom in place of powerpoint.

Week 7 Thing 17

I was searching for a podcast to look at and searched in many different places and was not successful in finding a link that would work on my computer. So I am wondering if this is something that I could expect my students to do if I can't then I would assume they can't. So I believe this is something that I would never use in my classroom.

Youtube is a great way to keep up with current events. I was watching lots of things on Tiger Woods this past week. I think it is a great way to motivate students to get involved in their learning and take some interest in things relevant to them.
